RICE - I am researching William Campbell Rice b.1778 died 1846 Carter Co KY. He married Elisabeth Tatum Bailey. b 6-20-1781 Orange Co Va and died in Carter Co Ky 11-11-1872 or any Rice family that Migrated to Ky in the late to early 1800s. Thanks

JONES - On the Powhatan County Historical Society page, under the Tombstone Transcription section; I found the following entries: "Jones, Susan (Mrs.) 9/19/1864(b) Extracted from Church records SLECC" and "Jones, W. B. (child) . 2/5/1865(b) Extracted from Church records SLECC". I would appreciate any additional information anyone has on these two individuals. I'm an trying to expand on the family of Jonathan William Jones (b abt. 1838) and son James William Jones (1861-1940). (SLECC represents St Luke's Episcopal Church Cemetery.) Thanks

WINFREE - Hello, I am seeking any information about the family of Maria L. WINFREE, born June 1858 -- father's name Richard (?), mother's name Louise M. (?) married Henry V. WILLIAMS in 1878. Henry is shown in 1910 Census in Richmond City, VA. All other family is either in Powhatan or Prince Edward. Any information, or places to find information would be most appreciated. GORDON - Looking for date/place of birth, ancestors/siblings of Robert GORDON m Ann SHACKELTON (2nd wife). He is listed in 1st Powhatan census and Ann is listed in 1810 census after his death in abt 1803. He had daughters: Frances m Gregory MATHEWS (or MATHES), Judith m Richard SHACKELTON, Nancy m John DICKSON, Polly m Josiah TRENT and sons John m Elizabeth Walthall NUNNALLY (daughter of Maj John NUNNALLY and Susan BURTON) and Thomas m Nancy HATCHER (not sure if he is the right Thomas, but I think so).
