Roanoke Times Page: B-2 Contributed by Rena Worthen ALLISON, Clara Louise, 79, of Pulaski, died on August 7, 1995, at Roanoke, Va. She was the youngest daughter of Wade H. Allison and Joanna Farris Allison of Draper, Va., and was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, C. Holbert Allison, Dr. Robley C. Allison, George B. Allison, J. Ralph Allison, Lee A. Boyd, Virginia A. Mottesheard and Martha Wade Allison. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a wide collection of friends. Miss Allison had degrees from Radford College, Ohio State University and Hollins College and was employed prior to retirement as librarian at Dublin High School. As a final expression of her lifelong interest and work in education, Miss Allison had directed that her body be delivered to the Virginia Anatomical Division for purposes of medical and scientific study. A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, Pulaski, Virginia, on Sunday, August 13, at 3:00 p.m. A reception for friends and family will be held in the church parish hall following the memorial service. In place of flowers, which were always loved by Miss Allison, it is suggested that those who desire may provide a more lasting memorial by making an appropriate contribution to the handicap accessibility fund at Christ Episcopal Church, Pulaski, Va.
