ALLISON, Martha Wade, 87, of Wytheville, formerly of Draper, Va., 
died Saturday, December 3, 1994, in the Roanoke United Methodist 
Home. She was born in Draper, Va. October 28, 1907, a daughter of 
Wade U. Allison and Joanna Farris Allison. She graduated from Radford 
College and continued her education at several colleges and universities. 
She retired from the VPI Extension Service after working in many Virginia 
counties as a Home Demonstration Agent. Miss Allison was a member of 
the St. John's Episcopal Church in Wytheville. She also was a member of the 
DAR. She is survived by one sister, Louise Allison of Roanoke; and several 
nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 4, 
1994 in the Allison Family Cemetery in Pulaski, Va. at 3 p.m., with the Rev. 
Laurie McAlpine officiating. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that memorial 
contributions be made to the St. John's Episcopal Church in Wytheville, Va. 
The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
