Roanoke Times BONDS, Ezra Roscoe, 83, of Hiwassee, went to be with Jesus, Saturday, April 5, 1997, in a Roanoke h ospital. He was preceded in death by a son, Abraham Bonds. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Bonds, Snowville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dewayne and Linda Bonds, Riner, Kelley and Regina Bonds, Snowville, and James and Dot Bonds, Christiansburg; a son, Danny Bonds, Christiansburg; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Bonds, Snowville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and James McNeil, Check and Shirley and Turner DeHart, Pilot; a stepsister, Nobie Altizer, Snowville; and a stepbrother, Stant Phillips, Snowville; two half sisters, Helen Pelky, Snowville and Edna Buckner, Radford; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Cecil Chapel Cemetery, Pulaski County.
