HIWASSEE * Franklin Lee Cole, age 81 of 2991 Duncan Hill Road, Hiwassee passed away 
Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004. Born June 2, 1922, he was the son of thelate Frank William Cole and 
Rosella Phillips Cole, a grandson, Jonathan Neil Cole, also preceded him in death. Surviving are: 
his wife of 60 years, Margaret O'Dell Cole, Hiwassee; children, William Franklin Cole and wife, 
Sandra Marie Cole, Amelia County,Rosetta Cole Duncan and husband, Chester Laymond Duncan, 
Hiwassee, Stanley Lee Cole and wife, Linda Cole, Snowville; nine grandchildren; 17 great 
grandchildren; sister, Ann O'Dell, Pulaski. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 
11 a.m. at Cecil's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hiwassee with minister Perry Duncan 
officiating where interment will follow. The family will receive friendsMonday evening from 6 to 
8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling arrangements 
for the family.
