Ruth Dell Foutz, age 77, of 3464 Lake Ridge Road, Pulaski passed away Thursday, November 13, 2003 in The Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, North Carolina. Born May 13, 1926 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late James Edgar O’Dell and Lula Galbreath O’Dell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Foutz, two brothers, Oren L. O’Dell and James Hubert O’Dell and a stillborn baby. She was a member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Hiwassee. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth “Ken” and LuAnn W. Foutz of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two grandson, Justin Lee Foutz and Albert Clayton Foutz; granddaughter, Jessica Lynne White; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma and Richard Hall of Snowville, Hazel and Duane Kesling of Pulaski, Norma and Bob Myers of Oklahoma City, Helen and Garland Tolliver of Pulaski and Sylvia Tiller of Hiwassee; sister-in-law, Emma Foutz of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Tim, Lisa, Amanda and Ben Rhyme of Draper. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ronald Bowman and Elder Milton Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Page Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, is handling the arrangements.
