BISHOP, Evelyn Ruth, 78, of Radford, passed away Monday, March 17, 1997, 
at Pulaski Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew 
Jackson Bishop. She was the retired owner of Bishop's Grocery. Survivors include one son 
and daughter-in-law, Edward J. (Buster) and Patricia Bishop of Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. 
Faye Tabor of Parrott; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 
and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, 1997, 
at 11 a.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Truman 
Simpkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Haley Cemetery in Pulaski County. The family 
will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral
