PHILLIPS, Elizabeth Cox, 87, of Radford, departed this life Monday, 
July 22, 1996, at her home in the loving care of her children. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Robert Phillips, in 1989. She leaves 
to mourn her death four daughters; two sons; two sons-in-law; and one 
daughter-in-law, Barbara Phillips, Radford, Anne Baker and husband, Joe, 
Goldsboro, N.C., Helen Monroe and husband, Dan, Radford, Dot Midkiff, 
Radford, John Phillips, New York City, N.Y., Arnold Davis Phillips and wife, 
Sandra, Christiansburg. Also surviving are one brother, Jeff Cox, Pulaski; 
one sister, Marie Rash, Dublin; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 1996, at 11 a.m. at the 
Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with Richard Waller 
officiating. Burial will follow in the Haley Cemetery in Pulaski County. The 
family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m . Wednesday at the Seaver-Sanders 
& Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
