Clyde Maxey had these items given to him. They were found in a house. We have no idea who they belonged to. In addition to the items scanned below, there were 12 little green leather books, a geography book from Pulaski High School copyrighted 1920 with the names Lois Kathleen King, Mary Kathleen Hall, Kathleen Adams, and Lucille King, a framed High School diploma , a catalogue showing the Goodspeed's Book Shop #195 genealogies and family histories that had been published and lots of unidentified photo negatives.

We may still be able to get copies from some of negatives. The original items are being sent to the museum for safe keeping.

From what we can see, these appear to be connected to the Dillon and Johnson Families of Pulaski County,VA.
A few of the photos have some marking on them. The "voter" list  we are not certain who compiled it or the source.
It shows white men, white women and colored men for 1925, 1926,1927 Pulaski District. We are assuming it is voters but DO NOT take it for the truth until we can confirm the source. Use it only as a guide.

These photos are not in the best condition but I scanned as they appeared. I did not try to enhance them at all. Rhonda Smith

"has tuberculosis and had to give up her school. Price HATCHETT is dead and was buried in Pocahontas last Sunday. I saw an account of it in the paper no particulars just said her death was particularly sad. Dick sees John and Edgar quite often but not this week. Edgar told him about the lovely picture you sent him."
