I am looking for information on my great- great-great grandfather and family. All that I know right now is that his last name is Cole. They were married in Pulaski, Co., VA on June 15, 1852 by C G Cecil - Methodist. Can anyone tell me any more? I just recently found a marriage record for a John Joseph Farra who married a Sarah Henley on July 7, 1788 in Henrico Co., VA. I am wondering if this John could be the father or grandfather of my John M. Farra. I have not connection between the two as of yet. But the names "John" and "Joseph" are repeated in my FARRA line. The abstract I have for John M Farra's marriage does not have the names of the couples parents. Does Pulaski Co marriage records sometimes list the parent's names?
