Allen HURST, b. 1825, m. Nancy COOK 20 Jul 1851, d. 1904. Nancy COOK, b. Abt. 1831, d. 15 Apr 1899. Both are buried in Tiny Town Cemetery in Hiwassee, VA. I'm looking for information on both of them, especially Nancy. I have quite a bit on Allen already. My lineage goes Absalom, John, Thomas, Allen, Wysar, Audrey, Larry, Kenny(me). I'm also looking for information on Wysar W. HURST, b. 4 Sept. 1876, m. Alvertie DILLON, d. 2 July 1943. Alvertie DILLON's parents are Jeff & N. DILLON. Wysar is also buried in Tiny Town Cemetery.

I am looking for information on the parents of Henry B. SHELL and Sarah Jane SAWYER.Henry was born July 28, 1821 in VA. He married Sara November 26, 1851 in Montgomery Co.Henry is on the 1850 and 1860 census of Montgomery. The 1880 census of Pulaski Co. and the 1900 census of Giles Co.VA. In 1850 he's living with a family named Price. Their children were Octavia Ellen, Americus Vespussia, Stavitt Altassia, Laura Francis,Electra Hart, Arlena Kansas, and Mason Newton. I am searching for information on Ava M. HOFFMAN, Born in Pulaski,Va in 1890 OR 1891. She married ???MUSSMAN (nor sure of his first name, could have been Warren.) They probably married in the early 1900's. I have very little information on my grandfather, and not much on my grandmother. Ava had 12 brothers and sisters and she is the only one who learned to read and write. Once she left home she never heard from any of her family. I believe W. MUSSMAN was born in Pulaski also. As he was a coal miner they moved about Virginia and W. Virginia. I am searching for Ava's parents names and Warrens parents names etc...

I am searching for the marriage of John Thomas to Catharine Dillon. I have a death certificate of their son Robert G. Thomas and someone in the family in 1922 remembered their names and Catharine (Kate) was a Dillon from Pulaski Co. I don't know for sure if the information on the death certificate was accurate or not, but its all I have to go on, since I have tried to find the marriage without success. John and Kate had the following children: Vicy, phoebe, Giles, Charlton, and Robert. I believe they moved to Wythe Co. after they were married. All of the children list on their marriages that they were born in Wythe Co. If anyone doing the Dillon family has Kate and John's marriage, I hope they will let me know. Any info on this union would be greatly appreciated.
