There isn't a birth certificate for him. He married my mother Sarah Isabella or Bell QUESENBERRY around 1933 to 1935. His father was James Samual ROBINSON and his Mother was Cornelia Frances PLOGGER ROBINSON, His Grandfather's name was John Samual ROBINSON and was married to Rachel MOZINGO or MAZINGO not sure which. I know he was born in pulaski county the same place ans my mother. Any information on this would be appreciated. I live in Michigan now and cannot get to Va at this time to look this up. He was known to have been on e of the first settlers in present-day Pulaski Co. and one of the first white settlers west of the New River. Any information at all would be very much appreciated. He was a wagonmaker or wheelwright in Newbern. Two sons are listed, James E.W. LANE (b.1834) and William A. LANE (b.1833). James E.W. Lane marries Harriet FLEEMAN in 1858.
