MORRIS, Mr. J. B. MORRIS. Two other children not mentioned: Grace Hellen and Alden W. Looking for births, baptisms, marriages, family ancestors and/or descendants, friend, of above --especially my father- James Bascom MORRIS, b. 23 Oct 1907; died Feb 1969. His parents: Gilbert Neal MORRIS, b 18 Apr 1878 Pulaski Va, d. 02 Dec 1948; Mary Lillian DUNLAP, b 31 Oct 1878 Rockbridge Co Va. Any information concerning my great-grandfather, James Haymaker GIBBS, and my great-grandmother, Mollie Draper GIBBS. They were residents of Pulaski. James was born in I believe 1887 In Dublin, Va., And died in Roanoke Va. In 1962.Mollie died in 1943 in Pulaski.I am also seeking information on the surnames, DRAPER, PARKER, and LOVERN, in this area. am also seeking the location of the (Dore)? furnace cemetery in Pulaski.

I am looking for information on William C. CLARK b)abt1858 and Josephine Burton CLARK b)abt 1852 in Pulaski, Va. They had a son named William David CLARK b)Feb. 16, 1882 in Pulaski. I was looking thru some Pulaski County Death records and noticed M. & Cath AKERS listed as the parents of Gideon (died at age 15) and Madision AKERS (died at age 8 in 1853). Am looking for my g-grandmother, Ollie Francis WHEELING who married James A. SCOTT of Giles Co, Va about 1879. Ollie may have been the daughter of Alcain (Alvinen,Alkanen) WHEELING . Family history says they were from the Parrott area of Pulaski Co. James A. SCOTT was the son of John O. SCOTT and Elizabeth CRINER of Giles Co. James A. SCOTT operated the ferry that was later sold to J. GOODWIN (origin of the name Goodwin's Ferry) . Does anyone know anything about these folks? Thanks !

I'm looking for information on Alfred Boyd ANDREW. He was born is Carsonville, Va. He had a brother Charles and two sisters Vinny (ANDREW)BYRD, and Etta (ANDREW)BOYER. He was born April 3, 1875 and died in Sullivan county, Indiana June 5,1962. He went by the name of Boyd ANDREW. Any info. on any or all these people would greatly help. Paula

Looking for information on "Hatfield" MCCROSKEY, married to Louise MCCROSKEY. All information I have was Hatfield played professional Baseball for Pirates, Ended up in a wheel chair, and died of cancer. I know of one son, Bobby MCCROSKEY, who married Linda Faye LANG and had three children, Toney, Teresa, and Sharon. Any information I can get would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information about a Z.W. CECIL and his wife J. H. CECIL, who were supposedly had a son named David R. CECIL. My information indicates that David was born about 1824 in Pulaski County, and was living in Giles County in 1886. Any information about any of these persons would be much appreciated, since David R. CECIL supposedly maried my Great Grandmother in Giles County in 1886.
