Rockbridge County VAGenWeb Archives houses transcribed documents which are put up by genealogists. If you have such documents in your files you are urged to transcribe them and put them up here. Please fully transcribe wills, deeds, cemeteries, marriages, etc. and send them to the Site administrator for inclusion.

VAGenWeb Project Archives is a part of the USGenWeb Project. This is fast becoming the most useful site on the web for genealogists, we urge you to become involved in making this project more complete. The USGenWeb Project is currently seeking volunteers who are willing to submit transcribed censuses, this will encompass the entire US. If you have a transcribed census, or are willing to volunteer your time in transcribing a census, please let us know. This project is very worthwhile and is quite useful to genealogists. Some maps of Virginia have been added the the VAGenWeb Archives! A 1634 Map, 1738 Map, and a 1792 Map.

To place a query, please go to the Rockbridge County, VAGenWeb Query Page. Other queries may be placed in the RAGS newsletter, queries are free to members, a $1.00 donation is requested for non-members. Queries should be limited to 50 words, and each query should be on one family. Send them to RAGS at P. O. Box 92, Rockbridge Baths, VA 24473. Write query enclosed on the lower left corner of the envelope.
