Location |
War Branch/Peaked Mountain area, Rockingham County,
Virginia. Take Route 33 west to Route 613 (Whitmore Shop Road). Turn right onto Route 613
and go 1.2 mile to Route 726 (War Branch Road). Turn left onto Route 726 and go 6/10 mile.
Turn left up private road and go 5/10 mile. Cemetery is to the left of road up in the
woods area. |
Notes |
In 2003 no attempt was made to walk the cemetery. In
1967 J. Robert Swank noted "There are many unmarked graves. The fence is down and
livestock have knocked stones over. In 1967 farm was owned by Wayne Driver and previous
owners were Showalter-Crawford." |
