 Solomon Ritchie Family Cemetery

Fulks Run, Rockingham County, Virginia. From Fulks Run Grocery, continue west on Highway 259 for 1 mile. Turn left at the Valley Land store onto Highway 818 (Little Dry River Road). After crossing the bridge, turn at the first left onto Higyway 817. The Ritchie Cemetery is unmarked, no fence, no rocks. It was originally on the Solomon Ritchie place, now owned by Clay Hinkle. As you face the Clay Hinkle home, cemetery is to the left on the corner of their front yard.

Notes in "Remarks" column were taken from Patricia Turner Ritchie's book in
1999, "Fulks Run Cemeteries".    In 1967 J. Robert Swank noted "There are
probably 30 to 50 graves here. "  More information on the Ritchie family can
be found in book "Descendants of Isaac Ritchie of Virginia" by Vergie Lantz,
in 1983.
