1. Large barn or stable belonging to Mr. Bockett - ran a line of stages from Winchester to Staunton.
2. Small brick house built by Col. Hall - used as a law office
3. Thomas Harrison house - occupied by Co. James Hall
4. House built by Col James Hall - occupied by Gen. Roller.
5. Brick house - built by John Pense - owned by Mr. Wm. Ott
6. Small frame house - occupied by barber shop run by Henry Boswell (negro)
7. Large frame stable painted red - owned by Mr. McMahon who kept tavern on N.E. corner
8. Washington House - owned by Mr. McMahon
9. Large white frame house - Jerry Kyle - dry goods store in NE corner.
10. Large white frame house - occupied by Mr. Sullivan a tailor & Mr. Wicks a silversmith
11. 1 1/2 story stone house - owned & occupied by Dr. Waterman.
12. Small stone office & medicine room - Dr. Waterman
13. Spring Run - later enclosed w/ low stone wall
14. Log house - later Judge Kenny built his house on this location
15. John Sites house - long brick building
16. Large stone house - Archibald Rutherford - later Stevens building

19. Frame house - John Dougherty - tailor

23. Brick house - Mr. Henneberger had silversmith shop in front room - lived back of it
24. Two story frame house - Mr. S. Henry
25. Brick house - built by Isaac Hardesty for apothecary shop
26. Long low building - occupied as tailor & barber shops -built by Mr. S. Henry. Mr. Lewis later lived at this location
27. 2 story frame house - owned by John Graham; Mr. Yakel lived there and had a tin shop in the store

30. Large log house. 1st floor: occupied as residence by Mr. McClellan & family. 2nd floor: Lawrence Wartman used as office for publishing newspaper.
31. Frame house painted yellow - occupied by Mr. Gamble, Clerk of the Court. Later he sold house to Jacob Yost
32. Large frame house - Mrs. Thornbill used for school for children

36. Log or frame house - occupied by "Uncle Jack", a negro Methodist Preacher, and his wife.
37. "Uncle Cato" died here after being stabbed by Ben Hopkins, a slave that belonged to the Hopkins family
38. Stone house - Willis Swanson died here
39. Frame or log house - occupied by the Herron family
40. White house w/ 2 porches - owned by Mr. Henry Bushnell
40a. Large frame building built by Mr. Bushnell for carriage making
41. Stone house - built & owned by Mr. Thomas Scott
42. Frame building painted Spanish brown - Mr. Scott's store
43. Old frame house - hat manufactory
44. Stone house - built by John Graham - later rented to Ben Vanpelt for a tavern
44a. Barn, carriage house, corn crib
45. Long white frame house - owned & occupied by Thomas Lanahan as a tavern
46. Frame house, painted pink - given to Mrs. Carr's mother by John Graham. North end was residence, south end John Clark had apothecary shop. Later used by John Foster as a silversmith or watch repairing shop.
47. White frame house - built by John Graham for Mrs. Carr's aunt Harriet. Occupied by Isaac Hardesty of Richmond - had apothecary shop below. Later occupied by Dr. George Clark & later by Mr. McGahey
48. Large brown frame house - Wm. Sites had dry goods store. Later Mr. Hardesty built brick house w/ apothecary
49. Frame house- Mr. A. Smith
50. Frame house - Mr. Welsh had saddlery shop
51. Stone house - 1 1/2 story - David Steele, a carpenter
52. White frame house w/ store underneath - Mr. Fawcett's store & residence
53. Tavern kept by James Duff
54 & 55. Two old frame houses - one occupied by Mrs. Schackelford
56. Ben Vanpelt had tavern here for many years.
