Looking for info on Ann (Anna, Angeline) Lam(b) family of Rockingham, Page, Greene, Madison? counties. Anna (b. ca 1800-1810), and children: Matthew (ca. 1833-ca. 1900) Rockingham and Page; descendants well documented. Louisa, b. ca. 1836; Eli (Alexander???) b. ca. 1840; Martha b. ca. 1842 Mary b. ca. 1844 (md. Joseph E. HANNIBAL "Han" Baugher 10/4/1866.) Lived near Swift Run Gap on US 33 in Rockingham all adult life. Land owned by Ann(a) or Angeline LAMB near Swift Run Gap, Rockingham County, ca. 1850. Who were Anna's parents? Any other children? Whom did they marry?

I'm seach more information on John and Henry WIDICK (Widock, Wideck). I found Henry Wideck in the "DAR PI Centennial Edition Part 3 (pg.3206) and the 1783 census(Tax List) contains Henry and John Widock in Shenandoah Co. There are references to John Widicks' sons (John, Samuel, Jacob, George and Joseph) moving to Logan Co. Ky. then to Macon Co. Ill. (1825) this is a fact. As for Henry Widick his will names several daughters: Barbary ROADCAP, Molly MORCHEN, Margaret (Peggy) PRINTZ (born 2/6/1773), Elizabeth Widick (d. 1822), Catherine MARKEY or MARICK, Christina GOOD (her husband Henrys' brother Jacob married Christinas' Sister Eve), Mary DEEDS or DEETS and Aimy WIDICK. Any information will be greatly appreciated and I have information about the Widicks to share.

TRAVIS, Robert Jr married Elenor GRACE, 1803, gdn. Daniel Brunk, d. of Thomas Gilmore. (from ROCKINGHAM COUNTY MARRIAGES 1778, Vogt & Kethley, page 220) These two were my 4th gr-gr'parents. Who were parents of ROBERT TRAVIS JR. Where was he from? Who were parents of ELENOR GRACE? Marriage record says THOMAS GILMORE. Could this be a transcription error? If ELENOR GRACE had a guardian, was she underage? Orphan? Who the heck was DANIEL BRUNK? (Recent info says maybe she was dau. of JAMES GRACE, sis. to MARY GRACE?) ROBERT TRAVIS & ELENOR (GRACE) TRAVIS died Marion Co, OH. Please help. Any info much appreciated and am happy to exchange descendent info.

Looking for information on children of Jeremiah RAGAN and Abigail HARRISON, especially his daughter Abigail b ca 1778 in Rockingham Co. VA. I have recently received some information that it was this Abigail RAGAN who married Nathaniel HOOD, son of Robert HOOD, in 1795 in Greene Co. TN.I do know that Jeremiah and his family moved to Washington Co. TN sometime after the Rev War, so it sounds plausible. I also know that there was a HOOD family living in the Rockingham Co. - Augusta Co. area in the mid 1700s, so perhaps that is how the RAGANs and HOODs became acquainted. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Seeking information on Rush and Duckworth families in Rockingham County 1790-1820. John Rush settled in Rockingham County after the Rev. War, in which he served. He came from Pennsylvania with his family. His youngest son Daniel was born 26 Jan 1797 in Rockingham County. Daniel married Elizabeth Duckworth 1819 also in Rockingham County. Daniel and Elizabeth moved to Ohio and then to Fayette Co., IL, where they died. Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.

According to Edward Thomas JONES' obit he was born in Rockingham Co., VA on March 28, 1824. I found him on the 1850 census with his mother, Hannah (STUBBLEFIELD) and stepfather, Aaron DENNETT. His father died when he was about three. Does anyone know who Edward Thomas JONES' father is? All I can put in my history is Mr. Jones. HELP! Thank you,

I am looking for any information on Zachariah Lee Sr., reported to have been born around 1765(?) in Albemarle County, moved to Augusta County at an early age, served in the Augusta County and Rockingham County Militias during the Rev. War, and moved to Botetourt County in his later years, where he died.
