Looking for information on Sarah HENTON and her parents, James HENTON and Esther EVANS. Sarah married David ROLSTON 6/8/1783. She had at least one brother, Bejamin HINTON, who was an elder in the Cooks Creek Presbyterian Church in 1802. Most of the other HINTONs were probably Methodist. Any information would be appreciated.

Looking for information on Ann COPELAND who married David ROLSTON Sr. 1754-1755 in Rockingham Co, VA. She was apparently the widow of Benjamin COPELAND who died prior to 1754. They owned land on Massy Creek and Linville Creek. They also lived in West Augusta. Any information - particularly any clues as to her parentage - would be appreciated.

Looking for information on the parents, siblings and children of Barbara BURKHOLDER. She was born 8/10/1810 in Virginia; died 2/24/1896, probably also in Virginia. She married Benjamin ROLSTON 12/27/1834. Benjamin's first wife was Catherine BEERY, whom he married in 1823. Any information on Barbara would be appreciated.

Looking for information on parents, siblings and children of Eliza Rebecca RYMAN, born 9/29/1844 in VA (probably Rockingham Co); died 3/5/1908. She married Benjamin ROLSTON on 5/16/1872. Her father's name may have been Levi RYMAN. She was "bound out" at age eight. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Henry WETZEL was a well known Lutheran Pastor in various churchs in August Co. VA., such as St. Paul (Mt. Solon) about 1845-1856 and Peaked Mountain and Henry was at St. Johns about 1842. His wife was Mary Catherine Staubers and they married 05 Dec 1839. Would like to know the name of the children. Believe Henry's parents were George and Margaret Carmeny Wetzel. Henry was born 11 Dec 1814 in Wythe Co. VA and died 1890. Do not know where. Henry was also involved in churches in Rockingham Co. VA

According to family sources Samuel HARRISON was born 16 Nov. 1801 in Rockingham Co. and died 16 September 1854 in Texas (death place not yet identified). He married Charity A. IRVIN 21 Sept. 1826 in Washington Co. MO. She was born about 1805/1806 in Virginia and died Oct. 1880 at Potosi, Washington Co. MO. They lived in Washington Co. until at least 1842 when their third child, John was born. I descend from Letha Mary HARRISON and John WALTON, who were married 8 June 1854 at Potosi.

Evan DOBKINS (sometimes DOBBINS) appears in the 1782-83 Personal Property Tax Lists in Rockingham Co. Evan is believed to be a son of Capt. John DOBKINS, whose father was John A. DOBIKIN. Evan is next listed in a 1784 PP Tax List in Shenandoah Co. with John and two brothers, Jacob and Reuben. Evan and his two brothers served under Capt. Jacob HOLEMAN in the Dunmore Co. Militia in 1775. He married Margaret JOHNSON in Shenandoah Co. in 1775 and moved to Eastern TN about 1785.

On March 17, 1836 Pleasant wrote a letter to my ggggrandfather James E.
