Seeking parents of Charles WEAVER, born ca 1795, Rockingham County, VA. He married Mary TUCKWILLER, daughter of Thomas TUCKWILLER, Feb. 18, 1817, Shenandoah County, VA.  Died 1858, Dry Run section, Page County, VA. Children: John, Daniel, Mary (m. Samuel S. SOURS), Joseph,  Malinda (m. John SUMMERS), Charles, Catherine (m. Frederick SOURS) and Louisa (m. Absalom TUCKWILLER). Two Charles WEAVERS from Rockingham County served in the War of 1812: In Capt. Robt. MAGILL'S Co., 38 Reg. Va. Vols. and in Capt. Wm. HARRISON"S Co.., 1st Va. Vols.

Isaac Peters & Warner Peters. Need  info on either of them but I think Isaac was the father of Warner. Warner was born in 1790 in Rockingham Co. Va. Moved to Greene Co. Tenn. after war of 1812 in which he was a Sgt.

HALL, Christian David, 1824-1890. Married Eliza Croft in Rockingham Co. c. 1846; she died 1856; he married second wife Minerva Jane Minnick of Page Co 1856; they lived in Rockingham Co. and had several children before moving to Warren Co. Looking for Christian David Hall's parents; one source says father is Noah Halle; another says father was Christian Sr. and mother was Elizabeth. Have info to share on descendants.

Philip Martin was born in Rockingham Co. abt. 1780 or 1790.  As a youth in 1805 he moved to Peston Co., WV.  He married Susan Funk and had 9 children.  There names were John, Jacob, Joseph, David, who is my direct descendent, Philip, Samuael, Susan, Margaret and Catherine. Two of Philip's brothers came to Preston Co., before him.  He was of German Discent.  All this information was given to me by genealogists who looked all this up in Oren Morton's History of Preston Co. W. Va. vol. 2. Any leads on Philip's parents or siblings would be Most appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Need marriage record of Thomas & Bettie Jane (Thomas) Bragg as that would give names of Thomas' parents. I would also like very much to have date and place of Thomas' death and place of burial. Searching for information on George Harrison CHRISMAN, said to be a large landowner in Rockingham Co., VA who lived at Harrisonburg in the late 1700's.  He had four sons:  George, William, Burke and Herring. Descendants of the family who may still live in the area may have the surname FRANK or CHRISMAN.

Samuel Holcomb born abt 1816. Believe father was Samuel Holcomb Sr. Married 1836 Mary Smith born april 1815 information states that Samuel lived in Valley, Rockingham Co Va He moved from there in 1846. I know that in some of the children obits it says they lived in Greenbrair WV. If you can help please let me know.
