Inventory/Appraisement & Sale of the estate of Gabriel Murphey - 1819

Russell County, VA - pages 278-281
(presumably from a Will Book, but since the machine copy of the original documents were sent to me by another researcher who did not identify the book, I don’t know the name of the book from which these two interesting documents came)
Note from Michael Dye: This most likely comes from Will Book #2 which cover the years 1803 - 1830

Note: Some of the archaic terms used I was able to define, thanks to A TO ZAX, A COMPREHENSIVE DICTIONARY FOR GENEALOGISTS AND HISTORIANS, by Barbara Jean Evans.

“Cleveses” means “clevis,” a u-shaped fastening device, such as is used to hook and unhook a wagon.
“Treas” I believe is a misspelling for “trace,” a hitching device.
“Draw(ing) knife” means a carpenter’s tool.
“Colter” or “coltor” means a plow share.
“Bee gum” means a bee hive.
