I'm including for you a very old photo of my Great
Grandfather and Great Grandmother. Robert Penley and Manerva Williams
Penley. He passed away in 1925 I believe. My dad was 5 years old @ the
time. You know they sit up with the dead back then and my dad said he
remembered him. He told me that he rembered him by his long beard. He
was a Civil War Veteran and served for the North in an outfit out
in Kentucky. Later on he was a minister and was a minister @ Alleys
Chapel United Methodist Church. I have photos of his and Manervas tombstone.
They are the only ones buried there!
