  • Type of INSTRUMENT
  • DATE of Instrument
  • SURNAME and GIVEN NAME of person who settled the estate
  • Their ROLE in the proceedings, whether Administrator, Executor, etc.
  • AMOUNT of value of estate
  • Date Instrument was RECORDED
  • BOOK and PAGE Numbers where Instrument was recorded
  • Additional NOTES
Note: When a person died testate (leaving a will), the estate was settled by an Executor, usually named in the will.

When a person died intestate (without a will), an Administrator was named to settle the estate.
