are the life's work of Surry's award-winning photographer, Lorena Leath. This extensive collection of slides depicting life in Surry and Sussex counties in the Twentieth Century was given to
the Surry County Historical Society in December 2000.

ROGERS' STORE PHOTOS!
This is our big project! Restoration is complete, electricity is on, practically all records and fixtures are in the Store. Of special interest is the restoration of Gwaltney's Store. This ca. 1820 building is saved!
