I am looking for any information concerning ancestors. I am looking for
information on Dewitt Richard Wall who was born in Halifax VA in 1802.
He married a Catherine and moved to Panola MS in the early 1840 to
cultivate a cotton farm. He died in Panola in 1874. However, I would
like to find out about his parent and the life he led in VA. It is my
understanding that he lived in VA from 1802 until abt 1842. He married
and had land there. I have been told that his father Judith S. Wall ?
was born 1786 in Surry County VA. I am not sure of if the father name
is correct. I do know that he had a brother by the name of Charles B
WALL who moved to Henry county IA around the same time to seek his
fortune. |

I am looking for the cemetery/place of burial of Charles Watson Womack (born 1804, died ca 1856 )and his wife Martha Lee Glasscock Womack( born 1807,died after 1850) in Halifax and/or Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of William Watson Womack and Nancy Dismukes Womack of Halifax County. Please assist in this and/ or direct me to another site to get help. |
