I am interested in all info. concerning the family name of SKAGGS, SCAGGS, or SKEGGS. I am also hunting for a marriage record between the Skaggs families and the CAMPBELLs. Many of my Skaggs have the middle name of Campbell. I don't know if it is because they fought under one of the Campbells or married into this family. Ida at the top of Texas txrose@arn.net

John Reeves married the widow Margaret DUNCANSON before 1770 and moved to Rockingham (Augusta) Co VA, Margaret had a son, Thomas Duncanson, born 1763 in Spotsylvania and baptized in the Protestant Church there. I am looking for Margaret's first husband, and her maiden name. Was she of the Fredericksburg Duncansons? Are there church records for that time period of Fredericksburg? Thanks for any clues.
