Seeking information on family of Alexander HOWARD , born about 1770, married in 1727 to Johanna TRIBBLE in Spotsylvania Co., Va. It is thought that parents of Alexander lived close to Spotsylvania, probably in one ot the counties that gave land to make the new Spotsylvania County.
Alexander and Johanna had known sons, Alexander Jr., John and Peter. The family moved to Amelia Co.,VA and bought land there. After the death of Alexander, Johanna and sons moved to Granville, NC and later to SC.
Have lots of info on descendants of Alexander and Johanna, but need parents and siblings for both Alexander and Johanna. Will be happy to exchange info with anyone working on these lines.
