I am looking for info on Aaron QUISENBERRY/QUESENBERRY b. abt. 1720-25, he married a Joyce ?, some say her last name was DUDLEY. I am trying to confirm this. I know Aaron lived in Spotslyvania Co., for a little while before moving to Orange Co. Does anyone have access to marriage records of that time? I think they probably married around 1755. Some researchers have said that his wife Joyce was the daughter of Robert Dudley and Joyce GAYLE, but the dates of the births of the children of Aaron Quisenberry and Joyce are earlier than the daughter Joyce of Robert Dudley could have been having children. Anyone who knows anything about this family I would appreciate their input.

I am researching Theodocus and Eda CURTIS. Their daughter, Susannah married a Charles COOPER in 1808 in Spotsyvania, Va. She came to Clark County, Ky in early 1800"s. Evidently Charles had died and she married a Lant/Sant Sutherland circa of 1824 in Clark County, Her son George Washington Cooper is my ggggrandfather. I am trying to prove that Charles Cooper is George's father. I know that Susanna is his mother. I have proof of that. If anyone is researching this Curtis or Cooper family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you.

GOODLOE, COLEMAN, SAMUEL

Seeking information about Rev. Thomas E. GOODLOE (did he perform marriage ceremony for your ancestor?) and wife Elizabeth. Both may have been born in Spotsylvania/Caroline County. Thomas died about 1840 in Orange County. Elizabeth, age 51, is on 1850 census for Spotsylvania County, on same page as Robert Coleman, age 66, perhaps her cousin, and other Colemans. (Elizabeth's mother may have been Sarah COLEMAN SAMUEL and father Anthony SAMUEL, of Caroline County.) In 1860, Elizabeth Goodloe and many Colemans are living in what's then known as Berkley Parish. Hope to hear from anyone who has some information. Thanks!

Searching for my ancestors Thomas and Catherine PARKER who were possibly in Spotsylvania Co in the 1750's or 1760's. A son Martin was supposed to have been born there, according to a DAR paper on him. The family was later in Fauquier Co, in 1787 and 1789, Thomas Sr. his son Thomas Jr. and a free "George"., were the only ones in one household, of the males at least.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have later info I will gladly share as the family members settled in Kentucky, Mo. and Ill. This family was possibly connected to a MARTIN family and there were many connections to the MARSHALL family , esp. in Kentucky; Thomas Jr. married a Marshall and three of their children married Marshalls. Thanks for any help.
