Edrington Family Cemetery
Special Note: Just
wanted to share some information on the Edrington Family Cemetery. The family
cemetery
is located within a yet undeveloped part of the Aquia Overlook development. The
Aquia Overlook Development is a private development managed by a home owners
association. On several occasions my neighbors and myself have had
strangers walking thru our property in search of the cemetery or the way back
out. I thought that you might want
to let the individuals who look up that site know that the Edrington Family
Cemetery is located on private property and also that it is very easy to get
lost in those woods not to mention the deer hunters that are out there this
time of year.

This cemetery is located on Tax Map 31
Parcel 16A. You go to the end of Quarry Road (Route 692), then follow the dirt
road on the right that is perpendicular to Quarry Road for about a mile. We
visited this cemetery in April 1996. The information for this cemetery was
provided by Barbara Kirby who visited the cemetery. Barbara said there were
actually two cemeteries there. One surrounded by a fence and a second cemetery
where the people were buried outside the fence. The people buried inside the
fenced part of the cemetery are:
