Thornton-Forbes-Washington Cemetery

Contributed by Homer Mussleman
This cemetery is located in Fredericksburg, VA. I have included this cemetery since many of those interred in this cemetery were born or raised in Stafford County.

The cemetery is located behind the George Washington Inn in Fredericksburg. The cemetery had been neglected until recently when an article in the Free Lance Star pointed out the condition of the cemetery and the heritage of those buried here. The cemetery has been renovated and is well maintained.

As of 2003, a researcher writes:

08/06/03, visited this site this pm. overgrown and badly neglected.
