Researching SULLIVAN'S that lived in the Enon/Hull Church area of Stafford County, VA. My great-grandfather Stonewall Jackson SULLIVAN(S. Jackson Sullivan) was born in Stafford approx. 22 Nov 1861. His parents were E. Sullivan and Louisa SULLIVAN (not sure these names are correct), married approx. 1860. S. Jackson SULLIVAN moved from Stafford to Albemarle County then return to the Fredericksburg area in 1910. Any information on his parents would be greatly appreciated. |

VA to MARY SOUTHARD/SUDDUTH, dau. of James Sudduth II, b. 1728, d. 1795 in Lincoln Co. GA and his wife Hannah LSU. JOHN ANDERSON allegedly b. Hanover Co., VA in 1741. John and Mary S. Anderson came to Wilkes Co. GA in 1783-1784; children included Thomas b. 1772 in VA according to 1850 Census, John Rogers, and daughters Elizabeth/Betsy, Catherine, Sally, Jean/Jane, Frances, Mary/Polly; their husbands' names include Davis, Jenkins, Anthony, Lane, Knowland/Nolan; some sources give the father John the middle name Rogers, also; I am not certain this is true. John d. Wilkes Co. GA in 1810, his wife there in 1826; her will lists him as a Revolutionary War veteran; one tradition says they came to Georgia from Virginia in a group led by a Captain Anthony; Anthonys and Andersons settled near each other in my home area in Wilkes Co. GA. All help will be very much appreciated. |
