Shawver Mill: 28 August 1936

Shawver Mill, Aug 26 - Miss Pearle Puckett, of Bluefield, Va. was the guest of Misses Helen and Alice Grubb over the weekend.

Messrs S. E Leffel, Mustard Pruett, O.C. Gregory and Wiley Compton were the ones from here attending the Legion convention in Roanoke this week.

Mr and Mrs. Craig Leffel visit their brother and sister, Mr. and mrs. J.B. Leffel, of Roanoke, the first part of the week.

Clyde Jack Shawver, employee of the Appalachian Power Company at Welch, spent the week end with parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Shawver.
