State
Regent’s Project: “Respecting the Past:”
By providing new
outdoor information signage at Berkeley Plantation. Signage around
the property of the plantation is in need of replacement due to age and
weather. Berkeley is Virginia’s most historic plantation,
an early Georgian
Mansion built in
1726. It is located on the south side of Virginia Route 5 in Charles City
between Williamsburg and Richmond.
An emphasis on the
National Society Children of the American Colonists is another project this
State Regent sincerely hopes to accomplish as NSCAC members are “the
Future” for DAC and SAC! I challenge each chapter to submit an
application for at least one new CAC member. Please be generous and
remember our veterans.
