Mary RennerLooking for someone from Warren County interested in solving a 100 year murder mystery . . . My second great aunt, Viola James, was believed to have been murdered by a woman who was in love with Viola's fiance. This woman was believed to have put poison in Viola's lunch. They supposedly worked in the same glove factory and had argued over the suitor. Her is what I have established: Viola JAMES was born in 1878 and died in 1896, exact date of death is unknown. Although the glove factory where she worked was supposed to have been in Winchester, Viola is buried in Good Hope Cemetery in Front Royal. I have not found a record of her death. Viola's mother, Annie OREAR JAMES, may have been living in Front Royal at the time. She married a William KELLEY in Front Royal in 1900. If anyone is interested in helping to find out what happened to Viola, please contact me. I am also looking for someone who might be willing to locate her grave (which is marked) in Good Hope Cemetery and photographing it. Mary Renner
