DAVIDSON posted by Chuck Davidson on Thursday, May 25, 2000

Hi List, I have just learned that I had one of my Ancestors settled in Washington County, Viginia in about 1725. His name is Owen Davidson born about 1695 in Scotland. Can't find out anything on him and could really use some help. He came there in Jan. 1716 and was a Jacobite and was captured at the 1715 Rebellion upraising. Was sent to Virginia as un-indentured prisoner along with 112 others, which is not bad. He could have bought land there or something else. I would appreciate any help you could give me and would be in you debt forever. Respectfully Submitted, Chuck Davidson
