Abraham Goodings Will I Abram Gooding of the County of Wythe and State of Virginia do make and constitute this my Last Will and Testament as FollowsViz. In the name of God amen I Abraham Gooding being in perfect health and blessed with sound memory calling to mind the mortality of my body that it is appointed of the Lord for all men once to die do make appoint constitute and order this my Last Will and Testament in the manner following Viz. Items in the first place I commit soul to the Lord that gave it and my body to the dust from whence it was taken to be decently buried. Item that all Funeral Costs first be paid Item that my widow shall have a Horse a reasonable good horse and sadle her bed and a Reasonable Sufficiency of beding to furnish it and a reasonable sufficiency of Body Clothes and a good pott also her maintenance on the primises until my youngest Child Samuel comes to the years or age of Twenty one and after that if she should Live to have a Comfortable Cabbin for her self as Long as she may require it.  Item that Cornelius my Eldest son has received his part or portion at his Removail to Caintuckee therefore to have no more no division any wise further until the above named yongest Child sam Comes of age but the Children to be raisd on the primises until that time if so require and at that time an Equal division to be According to the Judgement of my widow for the advantage of the Whole this given under my hand and Seal this fourth of June in the year of our Lord anno Domni one thousand seven hundred and Ninty Two

At a Court held for the County of Wythe on Tuesday the 14th of January 1794 The Last will and Testament of Abraham Gooding Decd was exhibited in Court and proven by the oath of Alexander Buchanan & Rachel Buchanan Two of the witnesses thereto and thereupon it is ordered to be recorded
