Know
all men by these presents that I Asoph WHITE of of Hawthorne in the County
of Hampshire and Commonwealth of Massachusetts for and in Consideration
of Sixty Pounds full to me in hand paid Before the Delivery hereof by Throop
CHAPMAN of Reedsborough County of Bennington and State of Vermont yeoman
the Receipt whereof I Do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained
sold one ?sed and by these presents Do give grant Bargain sell alien nelaafe?
Convey and Confirm to him the Said throop CHAPMAN and to his heirs and
assigns forever all my Right title ??est or Demand in current or Certain
Tract of Land Laying in Reedsborough afore’d Beginning at a beach Hut which
is the Southeast Corner and the North East Corner of John ROOT’s Land running
west ?? forth on s’d ROOT’s 1180 rod then Northwest By East 378 then East
Ten Degrees South 180 Rods then south Ten Degrees West 200 Rods Partly
on Abijah HAYWARD and partly on Henry DAVISON Land then west Ten degrees
North 25 Rods then South Ten ? east 145 Rods then East Ten degrees
South 25 Rod then South Ten Degrees west 33 Rods on the above said DAVISON’s
and Clases? Provided always that So much of the s’d Tract of Land as west
of the Northwest Corner as Shall be found Contained in the original Right
No 34 To be excepted out of this Deed To have and to hold the s’d granted
premises with the aportenances thereof to him the said troop CHAPMAN and
to his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use Benefit and Behoof
forever. I hereby Engage my to warrant and Defend the said granted and
Bargained Premises against all Claims or Demands of any person or Persons
Claiming by from or under me or any of the original Proprietors in writing
whereas I hereunto set my hand and Seal this third Day of October in the
year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety one
