deed to

John Hayden
 

Grand Isle, Vt ~ 20 March 1806

       Know all men by these presents that I Claghorn Robinson of Alburgh in the County of Grand Isle & State of Vermont for and in Consideration of Eight hundred dollars to me in hand paid before the delivery have of by John Hayden of Alburgh County & State aforesd the Recpt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained & sold And by these presents do give grant bargain sell _____ release & forever quit claim all my now Right title Interest Property & Demand unto him the Sd John his heirs or assigned of and unto a Certain tract or Parcel of Land Lying & being in the town of Alburgh aforesd (viz) Lot No 26 [s/b 46] in the 2nd Range. Bounded as follows on the west by the Lake on the south by Daniel Clark on the north by Eli Denis on the East by the Concession line Containing one hundred acres of land be the some more or Less. 

       To have and to hold the sd granted & bargained given ___ with all the privileges & appurtenances there to belonging to him the sd John Hayden his heirs & assigns & the sd Claghorn Robinson do hereby engage for my self my heirs & assigns to warrant & defend the same against all Lawful Claims or Demands of any person or persons Claiming by from or under me by any Acts done or suffered to be done

       In Witness where of I have hereunto set my hand & seal this the 20th [?] day of March in the year of our Lord 1806
