These schools are no longer within the yegate School System yet many of the buildings may still exist and may have been renovated as homes. The locations were derived from old topographical maps.

The Number 3 School was located on the Homes Hill Road just south of the Groton-South Ryegate Road in the southwest corner of Ryegate.

The Number 6 School was located at the intersection of Homes Hill Road and Crown Road in the northern part of Ryegate. This was the last school in which my mother taught.

The Red School was located on the Symes Pond Road due east of Lower Symes Pond.

The Whitelaw School was located about three-quarters of a mile southeast of the intersection of Ryegate Corner-Boltonville Road and Bible Hill Road.
