There is said to be another cemetery in the northwest corner of town near the road from Washington to Foxville. The author of "Burials Grounds of Vermont" was unable to locate it in 1987. Return To:

Caswell Cemetery
Go south from Washington village on VT Route 110 about 4 miles to Sky Acres Road on the left. Go up Sky Acres Road about 1/2 mile to Keene Road on the right. Go on Keene Road for about 3/10 mile. The cemetery appears to be on the left about 500 feet from the road. I'll need to get better directions.
Cheney Cemetery
Go south on VT Route 100 about 4/10 mile and turn left onto Turnpike Road. Go south on Turnpike Road about 1/2 mile to Cheney Road. The cemetery is on the right.
Clough Cemetery
From Chelsea village go north on VT Route 110 about 7/10 mile to Corinth Road. Go up Corinth Road about 1 mile to Washington Turnpike. Turn left onto Washington Turnpike and go about 2 miles to a "Y" intersection. Take the right fork onto Hart Hollow Road and go about 2 miles to the cemetery.
Fish Cemetery
Go south from Washington village on VT Route 110 about 5 miles to Poor Farm Road on the right. Turn onto Poor Farm Road and go about 3/4 mile. The cemetery is on the right.
Maple Hill Cemetery
Go west on Firehouse Lane about 1/2 mile to the cemetery.
South Washington Cemetery
From Chelsea village go north on VT Route 110 about 7/10 mile to Corinth Road. Go up Corinth Road about 1 mile to Washington Turnpike. Stay on Corinth Road for about 1 mile to Richardson Hill Road on the left. Go on Richardson Hill Road for about 2 miles. The cemetery will be on the right.
Weeden-Bohonon Cemetery **
From Washington village go on West Corinth Road about 3 miles to an unnamed road on the right. Go 6/10 mile from West Corinth Road to cemetery. I'll need to check road conditions.
