These vital records have been extracted, from the Sheffield, Vermont Town Record books, Volumes 1 and 2, by Jennifer Douglass, a dedicated Sheffield, Vermont researcher.   They were grouped and posted to digital format by Ann Mensch.   The records were microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Salt Lake City, UT, at Sheffield, VT, 10 July 1951, [LDS film number 028826].  The dates run from about 1796-1901, but most of the vital records stopped in the mid 1800s.
