THE WEST GROTON HEIGHTS CEMETERY

is located on Scott Hwy (Hwy 302), about 4 miles west of town, just beyond the Scott memorial. No one knows who was the first person to be buried there. Volume V of the Town records shows a map of this burying ground dated September 19, 1835.
