THE BATCHELDER FAMILY CEMETERY

 

is located in the woods south of Ricker's Mill (which is on Ricker's Pond along Hwy 232). The graves there are marked by plain fieldstones and with one exception are unknown. Here is buried Jeremiah Batchelder, a Revolutionary soldier. In his honor on each Memorial Day, a small American flag is nailed to a tree with grows near his grave.
