Looking for the grave sites and location of farm of Moses BUCK and his
wife, Mary (Polly) Adams Buck who lived at Georgia about 1790 to
1811?. Also grave sites of his sons, Luther, Alsa, Moses II,
John,

WILLIAMS-RUBLEE
I am seeking information on Cordelia WILLIAMS b. 12 Sep 1813 in VT.
Cordelia marries Myron RUBLEE abt 1849 most likely in Berkshire,
Franklin. Their children are Herbert Ashton Rublee b. 23 Feb 1842 in
Franklin Co. & Manville William RUBLEE b.24 Mar 1850 in St. Albans,
Franklin, VT. Cordelia & Myron on listed in the Berkshire, Franklin
1850 census & the Myron as head of the house in the 1840 Berkshire,
Franklin, VT census.
I have much on the Rublee line but have no information on Cordelia's
parents or her town of birth. Family tradition handed down from my
great grandmother states that Cordelia is a descendant of Roger
WILLIAMS founder of RI. Two of Roger WILLIAMS' descendants through
Goliah WILLIAMS, Stephan & Roger WILLIAMS settle in Danby, Rutland
in 1776 possibly Cordelia comes through either of these brothers. Any
assistance would be so appreciated.
Thank You, Robert K. Conlee, E-mail:

GILLMORE/GILMORE
The 1870 Franklin Co VT census reflects a Joseph GILMORE, age 23,
b
in Canada, apparently living in a boarding house in the St. Albans
area.
I believe it is possible that he is the son of George GILMORE of
Toronto
Canada. Siblings of Joseph would have been: James (b 1829), Robert (b
1835),
George Wallace (b 1837), Meria / Maria (b 1839), Thomas (b 1842), Zani
Ann
/ Janie Ann (b 1844), Charles (b 1846). All born in Toronto - Joseph in
1848.
Nothing further is known of any of these individuals except for George
Wallace
GILMORE, who appears in the 1860 Stephenson Co IL census, served the
Union
briefly, and later lived in KS. George's pension packet offers an
official document with his siblings names and birth years. Would be
most interested
in communicating with anyone who has any knowledge of the Joseph
GILMORE
found in Franklin Co VT. Contact: Janis Walker Gilmore,

JOYAL - KEITH
I am looking for information on the Joyal/Keith family of Swanton,
VT.
Minerva JOYAL was born in Swanton around 1828. To date, I have
not
been able to find a record of this. She married Frederick
Benjamin
KEITH. His death record states that he was born in
Deforester,
NY (approximately 1818) to Eunice & Jonathan Keith, but there seems
to
be no such place as "Deforester, NY". They had four children in
Swanton:
Frederick Benjamin (1859), Orpha Ann, Lilian Matilda and William
Joel
(4/1870.) William Joel is the only birth that I have found
recorded. The family left the area after Frederick Keith died,
relocating to western Mass in the 1870's. I have found them on
the 1860 & 1870 census in Swanton. In 1850, I find Frederick,
the father, prior to their marriage,
in Sheldon (at least I think it's him.) I cannot find any record
of
Minerva Joyal prior to 1860.
Can anyone help me out there? Nancy, E-mail: <nconks@aol.com>
