Stockbridge Common
|
Stockbridge lies in the northwest section of Windsor County and is bounded on the North by Bethel, East by Barnard, South by Killington and West by Pittsfield. It is crossed by the White River and its tributaries. Vermont Routes 100 and 107 link Stockbridge with its neighboring towns.
Villages and communities within Stockbridge include: Gaysville and Stockbridge. A hamlet called "No Town" also existed, in the southeastern corner of Stockbridge township in days gone by, but no homes remain today.
