Poultney Area St.
David's Society extends a public thank you following successful events with Côr y Penrhyn, the Penrhyn Welsh Male Voice Choir, from Bethesda in northwest Wales.
Poultney Area St. David's Society extends a public "thank you" (diolch yn fawr) to the co-hosts, sponsors and volunteers whose participation recently enabled a very successful third return visit to our northeast region by Côr y Penrhyn, the Penrhyn Welsh Male Voice Choir, from Bethesda in northwest Wales. It was the third time since 1993 for our society to host this choir for events in Poultney and the Slate Valley; and it was the first time for the choir to visit the Glens Falls / Queensbury, Warren County, New York region.
Thank you also to the public who joined with us for the activities on Tuesday, September 1st in the Poultney (Slate Valley) community as well as at the concert event on Wednesday, September 2nd in the Queensbury Union Free High School Auditorium. We trust you enjoyed it as much as we all did!
Detailed alphabetically below is the list, to-date, of the co-hosts, sponsors and volunteers from the extended communities for this September 1st and 2nd, 2015 northeastern USA tour of Côr y Penrhyn (the Penrhyn Welsh Male Voice Choir). All sponsor monetary contributions have been, and continue to be, dedicated to the choir's lodging and travel costs and to all of the activities while they were here. All are posted on our website and will be updated, when additional contributions are received.
