The September 1st and 2nd return to the northeast by Côr y Penrhyn (Penrhyn Welsh Male Choir) from Bethesda, northwest Wales was enjoyed by a great many people. On Tuesday, September 1st, the choir, the public and the St. David's Society enjoyed a day of activities together which were held in Poultney (Vt) and Fair Haven (Vt) in the Vermont / New York Slate Valley.
The concert performance held in the Queensbury, Warren County, New York high school auditorium was an absolutely magnificent performance by Côr y Penrhyn!!!!!! The concert was a night we will all cherish forever and ever and ever!
Ddiolch 'ch ogystal Côr Penrhyn am ddod yn ôl at ein cwm llechi ar gyfer eich trydydd tro!
Poultney Area St. David's Society extends a most sincere "thank you" to the many people who participated with us in this visit, as well as to the many whose financial support assisted our society in reducing the many costs related to these two days of events. One may view the continually growing list of those supporters by clicking on the "EVENTS" link above.
Comments received from Côr y Penrhyn concert-goers:
"My wife and I want to thank you so much for your efforts in creating the concert. This was so much more than we could have possibly imagined. The narration, the images, the harp and, of course, the choir were all an inspiration. We wish to express our eternal gratitude to everyone in the St. David's Society. William and Kay (Williams) Hubert, Glens Falls."
