page of the atlas (which would be a great site to bookmark for future
reference) or go directly to the 1895
Rutland County map. Sometimes the maps take a little bit of time to
download, but it is worth the wait for your research!

Rooted in the Green Mountains
A quarterly newsletter dedicated to genealogical research
in and around Rutland County, VT. The emphasis is on information not
always readily available to the average researcher. Each issue contains
records along with an article on a specific town or event. Cost is
$14.00 per year. Unlimited free queries are included in the price.

Sleeper Queries
This is a quarterly query newsletter focused on finding
"lost" ancestors in NY, CT, RI, MA, NH and VT. The yearly
subscription costs $16.00. There is no charge to submit queries. Queries
should run approximately 75 words and MUST include your name, mailing
address (there are many non-computerized readers) and email address.
