Our society was founded in 1927 by 22 charter members. As of now, we have an active membership of over 600 and we also have over 150 junior members. Even though about half of our members reside in Vermont, we do have members in most of the 50 states as well as France, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

We have two meetings a year, spring and fall, usually in the central Vermont area. Also, we publish a newsletter, The Green Mountain Pilgrim, at least twice a year.
