September 3 - 6, 2008 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - The 2008 Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS) Conference "Footprints of Family History".  Hosted by FGS and a number of local genealogical and historical societies in the Philadelphia area, this conference will have something to offer for every level of genealogist or family historian.  For more information and registration details, visit the society's website.

October 6 - 10, 2008 - Salt Lake City, Utah - The British Institute, held at Temple Square and sponsored by the International Society for British Genealogy and Family History, this seminar includes a session entitled: "Migration Patterns to North America: Religious migrations to North America, including the Puritans and Pilgrims to New England; Huguenots en route to America's Quakers and under Penn to the middle and southern colonies; Scots Presbyterians to Canada and the mid-South; Welsh Methodists and their communities around the Mid-west." The lecturer is David M.
