2010 Events Calendar
September, 2010 - Labor Day weekend, Portland, Oregon- the 79th North American National Gymanfa Ganu at the North American Festival of Wales sponsored by the Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu Association.
Editor's Note:
For those of you having Welsh ancestry through various communities near any cymanfa site, these events offer a great opportunity to vacation and enjoy the Welsh cultural event while also making time to visit those communities in your ancestral tree. For the National event, plan a week to tour your ancestors’ villages and then add four days to your plans to attend the cymanfa activities.
The following listing of venues of past cymanfa events sponsored by the Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu Association provides a historical view of where the strong concentrations of Welsh patrons have gathered to celebrate. Most of these sites are also regions where the Welsh has resided in large numbers. Double click here - Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu Venues for details.
